THE PEOPLE BEHIND SAVOR ATLAS

At the table with Meagan & Tiago.

Good food is an invitation. We imagine this place as a companion for home cooks: something to open when you need a weeknight idea, want to try a dish from somewhere new, or simply need to put dinner on the table.

Megsy’s Kitchen begins with the foods Meagan loves to make—tacos, lasagne, noodles, Sunday roasts and slow-simmered lamb. Tiago joins her at the table. Together, they are the authors and creators of Savor Atlas.

THE KITCHEN NOTEBOOK

Why rice needs a cooling plan

Rice is a staple across many cuisines. Once cooked, it also needs careful handling: a pot left slowly cooling can let Bacillus cereus multiply. Divide leftovers into shallow portions and follow local storage advice.

INGREDIENT STORY

The olive's long journey

Olive oil connects kitchens around the Mediterranean and beyond. The olive tree has supplied edible oil for thousands of years; its varied cultivars and growing regions give cooks a range of flavours.

EVERYDAY COOKING

A weekly plan can reduce repeat shopping

Start with two dishes that share ingredients, make a combined list, then check what you already have. The goal is a useful plan you can change, not seven identical days.
